Traveler Readers' Choice Awards - Live Event and Broadcast
The Traveler magazine Readers Choice Awards were to be televised on the Travel Channel for the first time in the magazines history. For this occasion I was entrusted with creating the title graphics for the gala as well as a twenty minute long slide show. My inspiration came from the award itself. It was created by Frank Gehry. I was not copying his work. Instead I imagined how he would approach constructing the stage for this event. I built an imaginary 3D environment and set a camera traveling threw revealing unexpected shapes and reflections.
